Stainless Steel lid and a finial top. Benefit: Wire through the finial locks the top, so squirrels can’t access the bird feed.
Clear PVC body with wide opening. Benefit: Easy to see when to refill and easy to fill after removing the lid.
Screws near the bottom. Benefit: The bottom can be removed easily, so a thorough cleaning can be done with less effort.
Bottom is recessed with drainage holes. Benefit: Birds can reach all of the feed and the feed in the bottom stays dryer.
Perches are on stainless steel springs. Benefit: Supports a cardinal or smaller bird, but certainly not a squirrel.
